Some days you are just having a bad day when things don’t go to plan. It will happen in every job role and you will get frustrated because it just seems like one problem after another. These are the days when you start to question why you do the job you are doing. When you are juggling lots of problems this can be tiring , as your head is busy trying to fix them all at the same time. I’m rarely bored in my job, as usually you are given work which fills your whole day. I don’t have lots of times when I don’t have something I can be doing, like taking part in these chats, or training on something new, or planning my time for my next wave of experiments.

      This is a great question!

Some days in work can be more repetitive than others, especially when you work in an office. But then, by contrast, some days you are so busy you hardly have time to take a break!

It can be very frustrating when things don’t go your way in work, but it’s important to try and see the positive in everything you do. For example, it might be tiring if somebody doesn’t agree with my suggestions for a project, but I always try to listen and understand their point of view.

Very rarely… except when I have to do certain administrative tasks that I don’t like.
