My dream job is to be a full time science presenter! I love being on stage showing science to the public and would love to do this even more than I do now!

I would love a job that let me have a dog that I could take to work like running a doggy day care or an archery club. Something that had an office or I could work outside.

My ultimate dream job is to be the founder and head chef of my own special kind of restaurant.
But instead of serving food, this restaurant would serve inventions.
Here’s how it would work:
The Menu (The Ideas): The menu would be filled with big, important problems that need solving. Things like, “How can we make learning science easier for everyone?” or “How can we build a tool to help doctors diagnose illnesses faster?” I would get to choose the problems I’m most passionate about.
The Kitchen (The Team): This is the most important part. My main job would be to build the happiest, most creative, and most supportive kitchen team in the world. I’d find amazing scientists, engineers, and designers who are all excited to work together. My dream is to create a place where people love coming to work, where they feel safe to try wild new ideas (even if they fail!), and where everyone helps each other succeed.
The Food (The Product): Together, my team and I would invent the solutions. We’d build the new educational tool or the new medical software. We’d design it, test it, and then “serve” it to the world to make people’s lives better.
So, my dream job is to have my own “invention restaurant” where I get to decide on the mission and spend my days making sure my team has all the ingredients and support they need to cook up world-changing ideas. My current job is teaching me all the skills I need to one day open the doors.
P.S. Plus, in my restaurant, there would be a mandatory “walk the dog” break every afternoon and an unlimited supply of green tea and my (somewhat experimental) lemon drizzle cake. It’s all part of the blueprint for success.

My dream job title is ‘connector of people and knowledge’ (unfortunately, that does not exist as a job as far as I know so when you’re grown up and start your own company, can you please create it for me π
I love helping people – finding the right contact or where that piece of information can be found. I really believe that we would all be so much happier and more productive if we were better at ‘connecting the dots’ – who’s already done this, who’s working on something similar, sharing what’s worked and what has not worked so others don’t have to repeat the experiment to find out, etc. -

My dream job is to become an astrophysics professor! I would love to keep doing research about supermassive black holes, teach university classes, do science outreach and advocate for women in science.

I currently work in Compliance within a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Whenever something unexpected happens within the production of vaccines, for example the vaccine failing some quality control tests – like pH values that are out of specification – I investigate the issue and try to find the answer. I really like working within pharmaceutical manufacturing. In the future, Iβd like to be a QP – or qualified person. The QP signs to say that any medicines produced, like vaccines and pills, are safe to leave the production site and be released for use by humans or animals in the UK, depending on if itβs Human or Veterinary products. The QP has the final say after the medicine is produced and bears a lot of responsibility. I find it fascinating!
