There is something about gospel music that always lift me up. I believe it is the message and using music to share this is a blessing. My love of reading is inspired by my parents and I love how books can take you to another place. When it comes to cooking, I love to cook for my family and as a scientist trying new recipes or putting my take on them is something I always tend to be up for.

There are some repeated activities and yet each is week is different. I enjoy working with different people and the best part of my days is when I can be part of solving a challenge. I often have to advise people on what to do or not do and this also helps me to learn about other areas.

My Typical Day:
In the morning i grab a quick breakfast – fruit and pastry usually, accompanied with water, before going work. At work, tically the day starts with s team meeting and aside of this I’ll have at least one 1:1 meeting with one of my team. The rest of the day is reviewing documents for projects and departments, looking at issues reported and working on how to solve them. I tend to have a 30 mins lunch and finish work between 4.30-5pm depending on when I start

What I'd do with the prize money:
I’d love to put it towards a science fair or something similar
-
Education:
From A levels in maths, physics and chemistry, I went on to study Chemistry at University to Master’s level. Doing a year in industry opened my eyes to other opportunities.
-
Work History:
Whilst at university I worked as a market researcher which boosted my confidence in talking to people. After university, I started my career working in labs for few years, moving into a supervisory role towards the latter stage. I got an interest in the various systems we used and spent a few years working on designing and implementing new systems before moving on to work across a manufacturing factory. The main intention there was looking for ways to improve all round. From there, I’ve started training as a qualified person and currently working as a manager specifically in the area of inhaled medicines.
