Yes… It’s a good TV show and I bet most scientists probably know people like the characters!

For a while, the earlier seasons more than the later ones. I lost interest when it started going a bit Jane Austin. Jane Austin does Jane Austin so much better.

What’s not to like? Yes there really are people in real life like the characters. My wife says I’m like Sheldon as I seem always to find the most complicated ways to do simple things.

Most of the time! Some of the episodes give me science-pain though. They have a science consultant, so most of the stuff is good, but sometimes it’s clear their expert isn’t an experimentalist – or that they take some liberties with e.g. laser safety to make better telly 😀
