Got to love all the complicated glassware! Look up soxhlet extractor .. that’s a good example!

That is a great question, and one I’ve not really thought about before. I think it would have to be our jumbo metal tower filtration equipment. It takes quite a lot of clamps, seals, nozzles and tubing, so is a bit of a puzzle to put together before you can use it. When I was on a tour of a brewery, I got excited when I saw they were using all the same clamps and nozzles we had in the lab for their fermentation tanks!
