If you mean what age did I start working as a scientist, I was 26. However, I started doing scientific research back when I was doing my Master’s degree in 2017-2018 at age 21/22, and continued on to do a PhD, which is also like working as a scientist, except you get a qualification at the end of it, and the title Dr.!

It depends on what you mean by ‘start.’ I started studying plant biology for my bachelor’s when I was 17 and started my PhD when I was 21, but I started being interested in plants when I was about 13.

It depends when you define the start of my career… I would probably say my first academic job and that was at 25 after my PhD and a short period as a post-doctoral research assistant.
