      I don’t know! But I think it’s a mix of things, especially people’s environments- like undergoing really stressful events- and their genetics.

      It’s can be genetic or environmental. Sometimes linked to an imbalance in brain chemistry.

      It can be for a number of reasons. Sometimes it’s down to the environment they are in (a single stressful event or the culmination of a prolonged experience), chemical imbalances in their bodies (your body needs certain vitamins and minerals to work) or it can be down to genetics.
      It is easier to break a mind than heal a damaged one which is why keeping track of your mental health and taking breaks for stressful environments is important.
