About Me:
I’m a North Londoner of Filipino ethnicity. By day I am a researcher, and in the evenings weight train at the gym, and in my free time I also love playing basketball :). I have a pet golden retriever cross breed dog, who is a rescue from Egypt. My favourite cuisines are Japanese and Indian food, and yes I have been to both countries, where their food is even better!

My Work:
I am a researcher at University College London, in the Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. My research interests are in the development of babies’ brains. We are trying to understand why and how things go wrong, and aim to find and test treatments or prevent brain disorders in babies and children.

My Typical Day:
I wake up, have breakfast and get to work for 9-10am. When I get to the office I re-cap my plans and then go into the lab to carry out my experiments. I have lunch with my colleagues at the refectory, and on some days we have meetings to catch up on what everyone is up to, or how we can help one another through any problems. Then I leave about 5pm to go the the gym.
