• Question: How can dogs hear so far?

      There are a couple of things. Dogs have a different range of hearing to us – they can hear sounds that are much higher pitched than our ears can pick up. I think there are also some differences in ear structure, like the shape, that means their ears amplify sound better than ours do and so they can hear things that are much quieter (or further away). I don’t really know all that much about dog anatomy so that’s about all the detail I can give!
