Grace Callaghan is the latest winner, after receiving the most votes from students! She wins £500 to spend on more science engagement activities.
Here’s what she had to say about her victory:

Wow! I am absolutely delighted to have been voted this termās winner of Iām a Scientist. Thank you to all the students who spent time chatting with me and voting. You guys are amazing, and Iāve loved talking about science with each and every one of you.Ā
Iāve been asked so many fantastic questions in the chats that have really made me stop and think. It has refreshed my perspective on approaching science by being reminded that no question is too big or small. Even the simplest questions are nuanced, and the biggest questions are not unreachable!
As well as buoyant curiosity, itās great to see what a wonderfully polite, friendly, and grateful generation of scientists we have coming up. Students, you have given me a lot of hope for the fight against climate change; if we have your intelligent, creative minds on our team we are sure to save our planet.
Thank you so much to the team at Iām a Scientist! Youāve created a really special and unique platform for sharing science and breaking down barriers and stereotypes along the way. Itās been humbling and thought-provoking meeting my fellow scientists – thank you all; Iāve learnt such a lot!Ā
Keep thinking. Keep questioning. Keep dreaming. Keep smiling.
