  there are so many jobs like this!! any role in an operational area means you’re not at a desk and working – so in labs, manufacturing plants, research with nature – seas, rivers, land etc; horticulture, sports etc. key is find something you love and there will be roles that are active.

Lots of science happens outside! I personally work with plants, but you could be an entomologist (study creepy-crawlies), a geologist (rocks are cool), palaeontologist (fossils!), etc. I think horticulture is the best job of all- I am only behind a desk if I want to be, you can usually find me in a garden getting up close and personal with plants.
