I am currently working on a project where I learn about the nutritional needs of a species of green seaweed!

I currently work on waste management control systems for Sellafield, so making sure all the nuclear waste is safely stored or checking to see if some of the waste can be treated so it can be recycled or reused somewhere else.

I’m currently doing a project with a charity which works in a country in West Africa, aiming to understand whether a plant based medicine which local animal owners use to treat a very serious, potentially fatal, disease in their animals is actually working. We’re doing this so that we can decide whether it’s necessary for the charity to try to make it possible for vets and owners to use the ‘standard’ medicines for this disease which are used in other countries in Africa (but they’re not currently available in the country where we’re working)
