This is a great question. I don’t think it makes me unique but I think all scientists need to be very resilient. Experiments often do not work, we prove our own ideas are wrong sometimes, we have to convince people to provide funding for our work and when we publish our findings in scientific journals it has to go through review processes. We often get a lot of rejections so you have to be very resilient to keep going and keep believing that what you do is important.

I’m not sure it makes me unique but I’m very good at adapting to new software and technology; working out how the software works and adapting existing work practices to use it.
