My favourite thing is that we put patients in a huge magnet and we’re able to get these incredibly detailed images of inside their bodies, seeing all the different tissues and things that make up who we are. I’m still fascinated everyday by the things we’re able to do and the amazing quality of the images we take.

I’m also lucky enough to work in our functional MRI clinical service, where we give patients thinking or small movement tasks to do whilst we scan their brain. This allows us to see what part of the brain the patient uses to process language or control movement.
