Question: What is the hardest disease you have had to fight?

Ebola was very challenging. It was my first outbreak response role, in a new and unfamiliar country, against a deadly disease which was causing a lot of suffering around me.
Luckily I received a lot of support from my team, family and members of the public. We could see our hard work (doing laboratory tests to quickly identify sick people, so they could get necessary healthcare) was making a big impact and helping to save lives, so that gave us motivation to keep on fighting.
