• Question: Is there a possibility that the sun will be swallowed by a black hole in the future?

      Probably not! Space is so large that the nearest stars, planets and black holes are really really really far away! The closest black hole to the Sun is about 1500 light years away, which means it takes light 1500 years to travel from the black hole to the Sun! So it’s very unlikely a black hole would ever get close enough to swallow the Sun.
