• Question: Is everyone here the same scientist at the same stuff

      I think the scientists here work in a lot of different areas of science across a range of industries and at different career stages.

      For example I work as a researcher at a university. I predominantly work in a lab doing experiments focused on how the immune system, particularly neutrophils, help to stop bacterial infections.

    I think everyone does quite different science jobs. That’s why “I’m a Scientist get me out of here” is such a great opportunity. You get to talk to all sorts of different people and find out what kind of jobs are out there!
    I work in a less traditional “Scientist” role. I’m a conservation Educator which means I use my knowledge and understanding of the animal kingdom and the environment to highlight conservation issues and share ideas for direct actions we can all take to help save our beautiful planet.

    No, scientist is a hugely broad term. We are all so very different and do very different jobs. Take no notice of cartoon scientists who all seem the same.
