About Me:
Hiya! I live in Glasgow and love discovering the amazing things in our world. At work, I dive into the wonders of science, especially loving everything about marine biology.
Besides being a scientist, I have another important role: making sure everyone is treated kindly and included. It’s like being a friendly guide to ensure everyone feels happy and valued.
Outside of work, I enjoy cycling, hiking, and spending time in nature. I love learning and sharing my excitement for science with others! 🌊🚴♂️🌿

My Work:
I am working on understanding how animals live together in different environments such as the seashore, coral reef, or the microbes living in your throat!

My Typical Day:
I start my day by hopping on my bicycle and cycling to work. When I arrive, I love chatting with other scientists over a cup of coffee. Then, I settle down at my computer to explore the findings from my studies – it’s like solving mysteries about nature!
For lunch, I head to the university cafe. I enjoy being surrounded by students; their energy is inspiring! In the afternoon, I continue my work, looking at more results and figuring out the secrets of the animals and tiny creatures I study. I wrap up my day at 4 pm and cycle back home.
