About Me:
I am a generally happy person who loves to learn and share my passion for psychology! I am a mum to a 8 year old and 6 year old who keep me very busy. I love swimming, walking, cycling, dancing and doing fun outdoor things with my family. I also love to talk about anything and everything!
-
My Work:
I am a former Associate Professor in Health Psychology and Medical Education (Assessment). Currently I work clinically as a registered Health Psychologist in mental health liaison in the NHS. I also work privately with clients who wish to access therapy relating to their health and wellbeing.

What I'd do with the prize money:
I haven’t got a concrete plan yet, but I would use it to get health psychology on the map a little more as it is not as well known as other areas of psychology but it is so important. I’d love to engage school students in a health psychology workshop as well as the general public perhaps.
-
Education:
I went to my local comprehensive school – Great Yarmouth High School. From there, I attended my local Further Education College to do A Levels.
Since then I have studied at Nottingham Trent University, UEA, Sheffield Hallam and the University of West England in Bristol.
Apart from my undergraduate degree, I have had to work FT alongside my study in to fund my other degrees and qualifications myself.
