      Hi! That’s a brilliant question. I think the thing I am most proud of is helping my team to design a blood test that measures the amount of a protein in your blood called “IgE”. People who are allergic to things tend to have a lot of IgE in their blood, and the doctors use the test I helped make to measure the amount of IgE a person has in their blood,and then work out the right amount of medicine to give them.

      I’m proud to have discovered a third start site for DNA replication in an extremophile (microbe that lives in extreme conditions) during my PhD. No-one knew it was there before me!
