The physics and chemistry that led to live evolving on Earth are the same everywhere in the Universe. There’s no reason that there couldn’t be life elsewhere… it’s just a long way away!

There are about a thousand billion galaxies in the observable Universe, and about 100 billion stars in each galaxy. Although life does need special conditions to exist, my money would be on yes, there probably is life out there.

They could be… but we don’t have definitive evidence at this certain point in time. Given that the materials and conditions that formed life on Earth are prevalent on other planets and moons in our solar system, and are therefore likely on planetary bodies across the universe, we definitely can’t rule out the possibility of life beyond Earth!
