      I never had a specific location in mind – I just knew i wanted to help solve problems to make life easier for people, whereever this may take me!

    at some point in my career i did want to live abroad but luckily in my roles i was able to travel and then keep the family in the UK

    I think one of the key benefits of science is the ability to travel. Whether that is moving to a research institute/ university in another country, or making use of attending conferences internationally. Personally I have followed the science, I was born and raised in Scotland and love it there, but the opportunity that I got in the south of England was worth the move. Some people do decide their career based off location, but personally the science is my main motivator.
