      No, this is not true, it only seem like that at times if you are a parent or teacher!
      Although the brain does have two anatomical sides, they work together for almost all things.

      Interesting the left side of your brain controls the right side of your body and vice versa. There also some evidence to suggest that different sides of your brain have different roles to play in your thinking and learning.
