• Question: if i were to make a time machine and go from 2024 to 1924 would i break the law of conservation of energy? explanation: if i took a breath in 2024 and exhaled in 1924 wouldn't it break the laws of physics since breath has energy? (suggesting time travel is real of course)

Yes I think so, also any mass has energy (E = mc^2, Energy = mass x speed of light squared) so by moving yourself back in time you would increase the total mass in the universe in 1924.

Astronauts moving fast on the international space station travel through time more slowly than people on earth, which is a bit like time travel, but they never actually go backwards or end up with multiple copies of themselves.
