How do humans evolve? Much the same way as everything else! We’re all different from each other in lots of ways and some of those are controlled by our genetics. Over time, people with some traits will be better able to survive and have children in the environment they live in and if those traits are controlled by the genetics they pass on then those traits will become more common in the next generation. The same things happen in all living things, with populations becoming more suited to their environment over generations. If we’re interested in ways humans specifically have evolved since we became a species there are a few examples; people who live at high altitudes have mutations that let them to make better use of the more limited oxygen available to them, and a few populations have mutations that give resistance to parasites/viruses that are/were common in their area.
