All computers basically need 3 things – as you probably know – a processor, some memory and some storage. So the first thing is to get those items together. These are then connected via one or more buses to allow data to move around. You probably need to network this computer with others so you need networking hardware and then an operating system to make the hardware work – usually Linux. There you have it… a computer 🙂
