This question keeps coming back to me at the most random times. The reason there have been no answers, is that ‘quantum travel’ is not really a concept. In physics, quantum is defined as “the smallest discrete unit of any physical entity”, so the science of the very VERY small, and quantum mechanics proposes that all energy and matter is made up of elementary particles such as electrons and photons.
The theory of quantum mechanics stating that a particle can exist in multiple states at the same time (the Schrodinger’s Cat theory) suggests that particles may be able to exist in more than one place at a time, however the theory does not scale up to big things (like people!)
Please note that I am a software engineer, not a physicist – I would be happy to be corrected on any of the above.
