Quantum mechanics is the study of the things that make up atoms. At that size, things behave in odd ways (wave-particle duality). I have read about it quite a bit, but still find it confusing. The nomenclature is also odd – made up by physicists on a whim (or whilst stoned, it seems) – and that makes it more confusing. I’m not alone: Nobel laureate Richard Feynman supposedly said: “If you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don’t understand quantum mechanics.”
