      I think because sunlight is white! There’s something to do with the water droplets being better at scattering all of the light than the particles in the atmosphere are. The normal particles that make up the air are best at scattering blue light and that’s why the sky is blue, but the water droplets are good at scattering all the colours so the light we see from clouds is white.
