Geography and business can be linked in many ways. On a local scale, city planners need geography to make sure the people in the city have shops and facilities they need. Unfortunately, all earthquake, flood and volcano hazard planning will depend on a region or country’s finances. And all research projects I do have to have a budget that I calculate.
